Ariana Jackson
Ariana Jackson’s volleyball journey began at the age of 7, inspired by watching her older sister compete at the club level. By age 10, she joined Golden Bears Volleyball Club, which opened the door to opportunities with several top-tier programs, including Red Rock. Through years of club experience, Ariana developed not only a high-level skill set but also a deep and lasting love for the game.
She was a four-year varsity setter at Bentley School, where her leadership and court presence were instrumental in the team’s success. Ariana served as team captain during both her sophomore and junior years, helping guide Bentley to the North Coast Section (NCS) finals in 2018—the school’s first appearance in nearly two decades. That
same year, she was honored as Athlete of the Year, a reflection of her dedication, leadership, and impact as a student-athlete. Unfortunately, her senior season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic—a frustrating setback for Ariana and her teammates, who had high hopes for another strong run.
Following high school, Ariana continued her volleyball journey at Sacramento State, playing one year of collegiate club while pursuing her degree in Health Science. It was during this time that she discovered a growing passion for coaching and mentorship. She has since coached at various summer camps through Xceleration Volleyball Club,
worked with athletes from elementary through high school, and is currently coaching at the high school level.
Now in her first season with Red Rock as a coach, Ariana is excited to return to the club that played such an important role in her early development. She brings with her not only years of experience but also a strong commitment to the growth and well-being of her players.
As she continues to grow in her own coaching career, she is dedicated to creating an environment where athletes can thrive—on the court, as teammates, and as individuals. Her mission is to help each player grow in skill, build resilience, and develop a true love for the game of volleyball.
