Derick Canchola
Derick has been coaching volleyball for 9 years and is entering his fourth year coaching at Red Rock and his sixth year as the JV girls’ volleyball head coach at Campolindo High School, where he has led the team to a couple undefeated seasons. In 2024, he completed his Master’s in Counseling at Saint Mary’s and now works as an associate marriage and family therapist at a community-based agency in Oakland.
In addition to coaching and promoting mental health, Derick enjoys watching sports, going to the gym, and taking his golden retriever Maya on walks.
